The marriage of Miss Mattie Beacham, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Beacham of Route 3. Washington,-to Mr. Dallas Rodg ers, son of Mrs. Albert Coltrain and the late Mr. Rodgers of Jamesyille, was solemnized at six o'clock last Saturday afternoon at an impressive double ring cere mony at the home of the bride’ parents. The Rev. J. D. Vernel son, pastor of the bride,, officiated in the presence of immediate fam ilies and friends. Both wore corsages of white carnations. Immediately following the wed ding ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Roy Beacham entertained the bridal party and guests at an informal reception. The three tiered wedding cake, topped with a minature bride and groom was served by Mrs. Ver non Beacham and punch was pour ed by Mrs. Clifton Beacham, Mints and salted nuts were also served the.gyests. Following the reception Mr. and Mrs. Rodgers left for a wed ding trip to unannounced points. Upon their return they will be at home In Factolus. Mrs. Rodgers, a popular mem ber of the younger" set, was a member of the 1950 graduating class of the Pactolus High School.
